From Friday 2nd November to Sunday 4th November, seven members from Enactus Northumbria were lucky enough to attend the Enactus Training weekend. This weekend brings together over 400 students from across the UK to build on their skills from running successful projects, creating more awareness of Enactus at University to how to gain more funding.
On the Friday Gemma and Naved pitched their FOOD4FUTURE project for The Greene King ITC and have gotten through to the finals!
Over the weekend we all split up to attend different workshops to ensure we got the most knowledge from the sessions. The marketing attended sessions on commercial awareness, brand building, whereas project leaders went to workshops on project management and sessions on starting, developing and growing a successful project.
We also attended a careers fair and networked with Enactus’ partners which include BIC, Amazon, HSBC, Unilever and many others!
The team also attended a gala dinner and a bonfire night which was a great way to meet other Enactus teams from different universities!
We would like to say a big thanks to Northumbria Business School for sponsoring our trip and Enactus UK for organising a fun-filled informative weekend!
