Here are a number of projects that Enactus Northumbria has worked on in the past few years.
Food4Future
Food4Future is a project we developed in our team with the help of our network of business advisors and through our partnership with local charity The Comfrey Project. The project is designed to teach refugees entrepreneurial business skills, to improve their employability in the UK job market.
SALT
SALT was a project in development stages. Our team's engineers are worked on a prototype device that will produce clean water for disadvantaged communities in underdeveloped countries.
Project enAble
Project enAble is a project we developed in our team with the help of our network of business advisors. The project is designed to provide the unemployed with an increased chance of employability through free bicycles. Our thought process is that if the unemployed have a free means of transportation, they can apply for jobs within a bigger radius, consequently increasing their chances of getting hired.
